In May 2025, I organized the first (hopefully annual) "Pickle Fest", a gathering of friends in the mountain of Kamvounia in Deskati. It was a two-day fest that included pickles, communal cooking, mountain hikes, film screening, live music and more! This year had 10 people joining. I booked the mountain refuge and we were the only people there. Most of us came from Thessaloniki in a car convoy and it was our first time on Kamvounia.
